Innovative Mobility Research Group
Innovative Mobility Research (IMR) Group seeks to provide critical data and
analysis to mobility providers in optimizing system-wide transportation options.
IMR is based at California Partners for Advanced Transit and Highways (PATH)
and is closely affiliated with the California Center for Innovative Transportation
(CCIT). CCIT was established in 2002 and is also administered by the Institute
of Transportation Studies (ITS-Berkeley) at the University of California,
Berkeley in collaboration with Caltrans.

Transit-Linked Mobility Study: An Assessment of Opportunities and Challenges
for Transit Operators, Alternative Mobility Providers, and Land Developers
Sponsored by WestStart-CALSTART and the Federal Transit Administration, the
goals of this study are to assess perspectives and future plans for transit’s
share of person trips, and to understand how transit-linked mobility services
are perceived by the three target industries listed above.

Los Angeles Metro Bicycle Planning Department
Metro supports bicycling as a transportation mode that improves air quality
and congestion and helps make healthy communities in Los Angeles County. Metro
has completed a Bike-Transit Center Implementation Plan, in conjunction with
Bikestation, which includes a toolkit for creating a unified network of bicycle-parking
facilities throughout Metro’s transportation system. It is available
for download on the Metro web site.
