CalHEAT works with commercial fleets, the industry and their funding partners to provide non-biased, independent data collection and performance evaluation of advanced technology vehicles and fuels.
The team designs and performs in-use field evaluation, data collection and analysis on new advanced vehicles technologies and fuels.
CalHEAT uses a proven process to assist fleets in identifying their unique needs, develop appropriate tests and evaluate the most efficient technology choices.
Data Collection Capabilities - Analysis and development of drive/duty cycle

Fuel economy is one of the most important aspects of developing a new vehicle technology. CalHEAT specializes in sorting out “real-world” data to perform comparisons between the various technologies. From natural gas vehicles to pure electric vehicles, CalHEAT will test and provide information that gives the stakeholder a detailed view and understanding of the advanced technology benefits.
